Dr Ulla Gerich-McGregor is a Fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (FAFRM) – part of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
Prior to arriving in Australia in 2002 Dr Gerich-McGregor worked as a specialist doctor in Switzerland and Germany, where she holds a Fellowship in Orthopaedic Surgery as well as degrees in Emergency Medicine and Sports Medicine. With a background as an orthopaedic surgeon Dr Gerich-McGregor brings additional experience to her work as a rehabilitation specialist.
Since qualifying as a Rehabilitation Medical Specialist in Australia, Ulla has been a Consultant at the Persistent Pain Service Metro South, Brisbane and was the Clinical Director of Rehabilitation Services, Richmond Health District NSW from July 2012 to 2018.
In 2013 Ulla established her private practice, Rehab Balance, with a particular interest in persistent/chronic pain management, muscular skeletal and orthopaedic rehabilitation, traumatic brain injury and spasticity treatment, including botulinum toxin A injections (Medicare approved prescriber & practitioner).
Dr Gerich-McGregor takes a holistic, team-management approach to patient care and offers a high level of patient service in collaboration with GPs, specialists and other approved allied health professionals.
